Indeed,

This was/is a memorable evening on many levels, we had seats in section 203 Row A on the rail and aisle near the board, a perfect evening with just the right amount of tuning. The first set closed with a strong Cassidy > Big Boss Man > OMSN.

The second set was tons of fun, started out a lil choppy, but once Garcia got right, the China > Rider segue soared with a transcendent midi solo, a strong Terrapin into Drumz, an eerie China Doll into Sugar Mags closed out a very short post Drumz second half.

The Baby Blue encore was metaphorical on so many levels and totally cut through as my honey and i were completely arm locked for this reading, and sadly, this weekend was destined to be the final Brent Mydland performances attended.

You must leave now, take what you need, you think will last
But whatever you wish to keep, you better grab it fast
Yonder stands your orphan with his gun
Crying like a fire in the sun
Look out the saints are comin’ through
And it’s all over now, Baby Blue

The highway is for gamblers, better use your sense
Take what you have gathered from coincidence
The empty-handed painter from your streets
Is drawing crazy patterns on your sheets
This sky, too, is folding under you
And it’s all over now, Baby Blue

All your seasick sailors, they are rowing home
All your reindeer armies, are all going home
The lover who just walked out your door
Has taken all his blankets from the floor
The carpet, too, is moving under you
And it’s all over now, Baby Blue

Leave your stepping stones behind, something calls for you
Forget the dead you’ve left, they will not follow you
The vagabond who’s rapping at your door
Is standing in the clothes that you once wore
Strike another match, go start anew
And it’s all over now, Baby Blue

Robert Zimmerman aka Bob Dylan

"This was/is a memorable evening on many levels, we had seats in section 203 Row A on the rail and aisle near the board..."

We sure did man! Maybe "we" refers to you and your "honey" in this instance. Who did "we" consist of when you were talking about listening to Tommy as a young lad?

Anyway, thanks for pointing out that It's All Over Now Baby Blue is a Dylan tune! We appreciate your knowledge so much.

No mystery to me. Koch didn't get to his first show until 1994...
